Electric radiant heating is fast becoming the preferred choice for replacing aging heating systems in churches, and associated buildings, where heating needs are intermittent. Compared to traditional heating systems, it provides a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution by focussing only on occupied areas.....ensuring greater comfort for everyone inside.
At St Clement with St Peter Church in Dulwich, a mixture of aluminium and steel electric radiant heat panels was supplied and installed by Comyn Ching Solray of Wales. To seamlessly blend with the church's interior, the panels were powder coated in-house to match the existing church wall finish. Solray's partners, CES Lighting and Electrical of Wallington, carried out all necessary electrical work and successfully commissioned the project.
Penny Shelley MBE, PCC Secretary at the church , expressed her appreciation:
"it has been a long time since the congregation has experienced heat this effective, and they are truly celebrating. We are particularly impressed with the flawless paint match and extend our heartfelt thanks to both Solray and CES for delivering this installation seamlessly, without the need for separate project management."
